11 June 8.30pm
Driving towards the Pumphill Garage, in St Osyth, near Clacton-on-Sea, a long golden narrow object was spotted, suspended in a clear sky with a few hazy white clouds, just above the trees at the side of Pumphill Garage. The observers stopped at the Garage and watched it for about 15 minutes, then it just vanished.

Just received a couple of interesting sightings made in Clacton-on-Sea, during November 1999 & July 2002.
2100 - 2130 hours Nov. 1999
The objects were spotted by four people returning from castle park in Colchester on bonfire night, driving along the back roads to clacton. The night was cold with little cloud, not much wind and no stars.

A bright yellow -like the sun, cigar shaped object with 3 crystal blue triangles following it in a triangle formation. They appeared to move at the same speed as teh observers car staying in formation. After a few minutes the 3 triangles seemed to "dance " around with each other, fast and at strange angles. Then the 3 triangles shot off really fast and the cigar shaped one seemed to get slowly faster and disappeared. This all lasted about 10/15 mins.

Clacton-on-Sea
"A re-emergence of the mysterious orange disk, as large as a dinner plate and spinning anti-clockwise, observed for several minutes from the level crossing in Burrs Road, Great Clacton, has occurred.
It travelled silently over the treetops at "Treasure Holt", towards Holland-on-Sea."
Several years ago a similar orange disk was spotted hovering near here for a few minutes, above the sub-station near the railway bridge on Sladburys Lane, before it "switched off" or dematerialised.

During January 2001, a huge pair of orange lights was reported, which seemed to have crashed into the marshes east of the Lion's Den in Great Holland. When the observers reached the junction at Sladburys Lane, leading from the Lion's Den, the disks shot up into the sky at great speed from below the bridge, observed for just a few seconds.Perhaps this is a region where events can take place at the quantum level, acting like a gateway to other worlds or fields of reality.
Treasure Holt has a paranormal history. The Society for Psychical Research carried out an investigation into some of the hauntings here in the 1920s; in 1972 the house was featured on BBC Television's Look East program and in 1992 BBC Radio Essex featured Treasure holt in one of their series of programs on Essex hauntings. An orange disk was also seen hovering a few miles away over the marshes at St.Osyth during September 1998, whilst in January 2001, another witness awoke in the early hours of the morning to find an orange disk about 18 inches (45 centimetres) spinning at the foot of her bed. It slowly moved towards the window, passed through it and eventually disappeared as it ascended over the fields outside

Sighting reported to Essex UFO & Paranormal Research Group(2001)

Tendring & Clacton
Amber light, as large as low passenger jet, approached Tendring silently from direction of Weeley, & continued on a N to NE path to Harwich. It split into 8 - 10 smaller orbs with steam like tails, which faded out.
Group of 3 whitish lights seen in Clacton about the same time, moving slowly north, faded away.

1 December 2240 hours
Billericay
Small whitish light slowly approached two witnesses in Billericay from the south, gradually becoming bigger and bigger as it came nearer until it was as large as a dinner plate. Observed, moving in a straight line to the north, for 2-3 minutes, the orb elongated to a magnificent object about 15 feet (5 metres) long as it passed silently over head. The huge manifestation was clearly seen to consist of hundreds of white lights which seemed to be contained in a mist.
Three left the "formation" at the front, and about eight moved out at the rear when one isolated itself and followed behind. They looked like "tadpoles", since each bright white dot included a whitish gaseous tail.
Whilst all detail was still clearly distinguishable, it gradually became invisible when it "switched off" or "faded away" from front to rear.
A similar or same object was reported to UFOMEK (UFO Monitors East Kent) moving westerly at 2200 hours, as well as another moving north towards Essex at 2230 hours.
The objects were moving too slowly to be a meteorite or small asteroid.
If they were satellites burning out in the Earth's atmosphere as gravity pulled them down, then the 11 small lights ejected from the front and rear of the north bound one would have required an additional propulsive force, like an explosion (not seen), to give them the necessary acceleration.
Rather unusual spasmodic interference to TV signals occurred during the evening (from about 2030 hours) - including black out of picture for a split second on 2 occasions and several times portions of the upper screen/frame froze in horizontal linear sections from the top downwards. For a brief moment the frozen part became predominantly green, detail still discernible, whilst the lower part retained correct colour.

Info Received:
Subject: Re: The decay of the GLONASS launch objects
It appears that the object seen from S England and France at ~22:35 UTC on December 1 is related to the decay witnessed from Texas and Oklahoma a few hours later, around 04:18 UTC.
The rocket concerned, a Proton or "SL-12", was launched from Baikonur at 21:04 Moscow time (18:04 UTC). It carried three global positioning, or navigation, satellite: two Uragan ("Hurricane") satellites and a new generation Uragan-M satellite. All three have now reached their near-circular orbits at a height of 19,120 km, being catalogued by SpaceCom as objects A, B and C from this launch. The fourth catalogued object (D) is the Proton rocket, while a fifth object (E) is in a similar orbit to A, B and C and is presumably the upper stage rocket (a Blok DM-2?) that accomplished the final deployment of the payloads. Now, what is missing is any mention of what SpaceCom usually call a "Platform", actually a cylindrical casing that (I understand) shrouds at least the lower part of the Blok DM during the launch. This is usually shed when the Blok DM detaches from the Proton, being left in much the same low orbit as the Proton from which it decays more rapidly because of its relatively low mass:area ratio. It would normally be expected to receive the object designation between the rocket and the Blok DM, so (for this launch) I would have expected the Proton to be D, the "Platform" to be E and the Block DM to be F.
The fact that SpaceCom did not catalogue it, does not mean that casing did not exist. Indeed, I think that this was the object seen to be decaying as it tracked north-eastwards across N France towards Calais. It would have been on its third orbit at the time and moving along much the same track that the Proton itself may have taken. (Though the casing may have been a few seconds earlier and slightly further E)
The Proton survived for another for (almost) another four orbits before its decay over the USA.

27 October 2030hours
Essex/Suffolk
Bright ball of bluish light, the size of the sun moving to the north.
In view of current events in our world, triggered on 11 September,
one wonders if the ancient prophesy of the Hopi Indians of northern Arizona, has manifested itself:

"World War III will be a spiritual conflict with material matters. Material matters will be destroyed by spiritual beings who will remain to create one world and one nation under one power, that of the Creator.
That time is not far off (stated in 1963). It will come when the saquasohuh (BLUE STAR), Kachina, dances in the plaza. He represents a blue star, far off and yet invisible, which will make its appearance soon".

30 September 0015hours
East Hanningfield, nr.Chelmsford
Silent, bright white light moving behind trees.
Fire engines and police vehicles in vicinity.

10 September 2100hours
Colchester
Slow moving, right red light with a tapering comet-like tail.

25 August evening
Thurrock
Boomerang shaped object seen, on 2 other separate evenings as well, flying over Lakeside.

On 31 July 2000, by the river in Grays, Essex, a plane was passing over very high up in the sky when the witnesses notices a red 'dot' shoot along behind it, it paused (giving them a fright, thinking it was going to attack) above aircraft, then shot off at very high speed. Then vanished.

On 14 January 2000 at aprox. 6.30 pm in a town called Tiften, Georgie, USA several witnessed a huge black triangle flying over their house. (Thereafter, this gives the witnesses more reason to keep watching the skies)

They see many satelites going over, but wonder what are the ones that seem to flash to each other. They also see others that seem to come from nowhere and then just have bright lights for about 2 seconds then vanish.
The contact/witness states that the Thurrock area is quite busy for sightings as odd different stationary lights have also appeared and remained for at least 10 to 15 mins, whilst observed, day and evening.

11 August 2145hours
Bradwell
Very bright green light, like a beam, three directional, seen from Mersea beach looking over to Bradwell. It seemed to be to the left of power station (east)and at ground level. Witness thought it could have been in the Crouch or St. Peter's flats, and wondered if it was a UFO or military.

3 July 1945hours
St.Osyth

A golden coloured cigar object moving northwards over Clay Lane

8 June 0015hours
St.Osyth

Bright white lights were seen hovering low over the gravel pit in Lodge/Low's Farm. The object moved slowly to within 100 yards of the observer and hovered.

His car radio turned itself off.
The object was about 8 feet (3 metres) wide and made a low pitch whine. A pale green light was now seen in its centre.
Later it moved upwards, then descended and moved side to side.
It rotated through one revolution and then sped off, making a crackling noise as it ascended.
It then disappeared in a blinding flash of blue light.
The observer said that time seemed to have stood still during the 25 minutes he had watched the object.

26 May 2330hours
Chingford, Essex

Circular red zigzagging object, bigger than a star, moved very fast towards Epping.

14 February 0630hours
Leiston, Suffolk

Two fast, silent, very bright whitish lights, about half a mile apart one behind the other, moving in a W-E direction. Changed formation.

13 February 2332hours
Clacton-on-Sea
Two fast, silent, whitish lights, the size of golf balls, moving side by side in a N-S direction seawards.
One 'flipped' over the top of the other one, to rejoin it on the opposite side.

Reported 11 Jan 2001, after reading UFO article in Evening Gazette.

A regular visitor to St.Osyth spotted, through his telescope a silent disk lurking behind the light cloud, whilst he was on holiday there.
The white object with vertical gold bars momentarily revealed itself when either the cloud lifted or the object descended.

It then concealed itself again by the use of many "red dots" of light, and returned behind the cloud. Something moving up and down at the top of the object, which went through tranformation/shimmering of of colours reminded him of simlilar he had seen in the film "Predator".

During his holidays at St.Osyth, he said he often observed the frequent disk activity through his telescope. The disks seemed to be "watching", over Bradwell power station.

A bright silver unusual looking object was noticed in the sky, over the pier at Clacton, early September during 1995 or 96. The person spending his holiday here took a photograph. To his amazement the object appeared black on the print; not silver.

10 January 0230hours
St.Osyth

A "whhhissshing" sound awakened person in the early hours of the morning. A spinning ball of bright orange light, about 18" (half metre) diameter, with protrusion at top and bottom was observed at the bottom of the bed. The scary object departed by passing out through the window.

4 January 1945 hours
Chelmsford

A single white light, about tennis ball size, descended through diffused clouds, transforming to a triangular object of three white lights about 18 inches (half metre) across. It moved at great speed towards Writtle.
